Fleece Dog Coats

Have you ever thought of getting fleece dog coats? They are great! I simply love them and am working on starting my own business making them. They keep your beloved dog warm in winter (particularly important if you live somewhere as cold as I do) and look fantastic. So what are fleece dog coats? That's what this blog is all about. One of My Favourite Fleece Dog Coats

Fleece dog coats come in all sorts of shapes and sizes to be perfect no matter what kind of dog you have in your family. My favorite is a bright pink one (see picture), but I also love a tartan one my friend made for my dog last Christmas. We put that coat on for special occasions! Buying or making your dog a fleecy coat is a fantastic treat and something that will give you a lot of joy as you are able to share something with your pooch. There anren't that many things we humans can really give our pets besides love and affection - and in my book little presents like these fleece coats are just extensions of love and affection really.

I started making my own fleece dog coats about 6 months ago and although I was initially apprehensive of my non-existent sewing skills I quickly got the hang of a second-hand machine and found that dog coats are really simple to make at home. The fabric is cheap and you can get so many different colors and patterns from your local dressmaking store, then you just have to take a few measurements from your pooch to make sure it's snug and it's cut-cut-whirrr (that's me making a sewing machine sound).

Seriously, anyone can learn to make fleece dog coats if I can. Or, just buy one from your pet store.
